Mrs. Shaffer – Some of you may remember her as Mrs. Blevins or Miss Guebert. She graduated from Concordia Seward in ’92. She began her teaching career in Hooper, NE teaching 3rd and 4th grades. From there, she taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th at Immanuel, Junction City, KS. She then taught 5th and 6th grades at Trinity Hoyleton before moving to St. Louis. For the last 22 years she has taught Middle School Math and 8th grade at Abiding Savior Lutheran School.
She is returning to Hoyleton after getting remarried to her husband Ted. They have 4 children still living at home. Elijah, Skylar, Lincoln, and Ava. Ava will be joining her at Trinity.
When not running around after the kids or teaching, she enjoys gardening, being outdoors, reading, and family activities.
Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 46:4 ” Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue.
